xLandscapers and contractors are demanding more cordless alternatives to corded and gas-powered outdoor power equipment. Makita is meeting demand with an expanding line of cordless OPE, including the 18 V X2 LXT® (36 V) brushless chain saw (model XCU03Z, tool only). With zero emissions, lower noise and considerably less maintenance, the XCU03Z is a welcome solution for cutting and trimming applications. It's powered by two 18 V LXT® batteries (sold separately) for 36 V power and runtime, but without leaving the strongly-preferred 18 V battery platform. And with the efficient Makita outer rotor brushless motor with direct-drive system, users get high-power efficiency that is equivalent to a gas chain saw. The XCU03Z has a 14 in guide bar and the Makita-built motor with variable-speed delivers 0 to 3940 fpm for increased cutting speed, but with less noise (only 100 dBA). It has zero emissions and reduced maintenance there's no engine oil to change, no spark plug to replace and no air filter or muffler to clean. And there's no need to drain the fuel for storage. Simply pick it up, load two 18 V LXT® Lithium-Ion batteries and the saw is ready to use. Convenience features include a toolless chain adjustments, a front hand guard engineered to actuate chain brake when engaged, an electric brake for maximum productivity and more.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the size and weight of your items and the shipping options chosen. Depending on the shipping provider, shipping dates, and other factors, estimates may or may not appear on the shipping quotes page, or be entirely accurate for all destinations and scenarios.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Tool Factory Outlet sells a wide variety of products and equipment that ship via Freight. Products that ship Freight typically weigh more than 150lbs or exceed a certain length, or both. If your product is shipping Freight, it will be indicated during check-out as "Freight Shipping." If your product is shipping Freight and Free Shipping is not offered for that specific product, you will receive a separate shipping invoice for you to accept or decline. You will have to coordinate last-mile delivery of the product with the carrier. Typical options include customer pick-up from the terminal, lift gate service to a residential address, or trailer delivery to a loading dock equipped business or building. Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within 4-10 days of our warehouse receiving back your product, however, in many cases you will receive your refund even faster.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. Once we review and approve your request, an RMA will be issued via email. We'll also notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received, inspected, and processed the returned item.
