xWith zero emissions and lower noise, the 18 V LXT® brushless cordless two-piece combo kit (XT286SM1) is a welcome solution for clean-up applications. The kit includes an 18 V LXT brushless cordless blower (XBU03Z), 18 V LXT brushless string trimmer (XRU12Z), 4 Ah battery (BL1840B) and charger (DC18SD). Both are powered by a single 18 V LXT battery, the same battery that powers the full range of solutions in the expanding LXT system. This blower features a compact and ergonomic design, weighing in at only 6.5 lb. and measuring 32-1/2 in L. With no carbon brushes, the Makita® BL™ motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer life, and delivers speeds up to 116 mph air velocity and a full 459 cfm. Makita's efficient BL™ motor is electronically controlled to optimize battery energy use for up to 50% longer runtime per battery charge than similar non-brushless tools. Electronic controls efficiently use battery energy to match the changing demands of the application for increased power and speed when needed. A cruise control lever provides management of power and runtime. The efficient brushless motor delivers up to 6000 rpm for faster cutting with the string trimmer. The XRU12Z is equipped with Automatic Torque Drive Technology, which automatically shifts from 4000 to 6000 rpm depending on the density of the application. There are three-speed options (4000/5000/6000 rpm), allowing users to match the speed to the application. The easy-loading bump-and-feed trimmer head is compatible with 0.080 or 0.095 in line and offers reverse rotation allowing users to quickly clear the head of entangled grass and weeds. Both pieces of power equipment features Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™). XPT™ is a protective seal inside the tool, and is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. These products are a part of Makita's expanding 18 V Lithium-Ion system, the world's largest cordless tool system powered by 18 V Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries. Makita® 18 V Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the size and weight of your items and the shipping options chosen. Depending on the shipping provider, shipping dates, and other factors, estimates may or may not appear on the shipping quotes page, or be entirely accurate for all destinations and scenarios.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Tool Factory Outlet sells a wide variety of products and equipment that ship via Freight. Products that ship Freight typically weigh more than 150lbs or exceed a certain length, or both. If your product is shipping Freight, it will be indicated during check-out as "Freight Shipping." If your product is shipping Freight and Free Shipping is not offered for that specific product, you will receive a separate shipping invoice for you to accept or decline. You will have to coordinate last-mile delivery of the product with the carrier. Typical options include customer pick-up from the terminal, lift gate service to a residential address, or trailer delivery to a loading dock equipped business or building. The carrier will contact you to arrange this. If you have any questions, please call or email us directly.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within 4-10 days of our warehouse receiving back your product, however, in many cases you will receive your refund even faster.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. Once we review and approve your request, an RMA will be issued via email. We'll also notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received, inspected, and processed the returned item.
